Job Title: Temporary Process Operator

Hours: 4 on 4 off

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Operator to join a busy industrial site in the Widnes area on a temporary basis. This role supports the production department in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

Our client are looking for someone who is hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, often in physically demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe and efficient operation of forklift trucks (FLT)
Offloading chemicals into drums, IBCs and bulk tankers
Sampling and preparing chemical samples for analysis
Assisting with stock control and inventory management
Maintaining high standards of site housekeeping
General yard duties and support to the production team

Essential Requirements:

Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or equivalent)
Previous experience in a chemical or process plant environment
Confident and competent in chemical handling procedures
Strong understanding of health & safety protocols and PPE usage
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
A reliable, team-focused approach with a strong work ethic

Desirable:

Familiarity with inventory or materials management systems
Experience with chemical sampling and documentation processes
